Last month, a group of neighbors helped us to process 38 chickens who were raised in our yard. Dan and I raised them for 9 weeks. We split the costs of feed. Several of us went to a workshop in VT ahead of time to learn how to process in an efficient and respectful manner. It was well worth the $25 registration fee. When all was said and done, it took 5 of us 4.5 hours to finish all 38 chickens and scrub everything down with bleach. Here are some random thoughts from some of the participants:

I have struggled with this in the past, but have only just found the solution. Every time I created a .ico it wouldn't display properly as a favicon.ico. I also only recently figured out that .ico files support multiple sizes simultaneously. Here is how I was able to accomplish both. First you'll want to create a square image of a size of, or larger than the largest size you want to include in your icon. I prefer transparent images, when possible: convert some_image.bmp -resize 256x256 -transparent white favicon-256.png Then we'll want to make images for each size you want to include in the .ico file. convert favicon-256.png -resize 16x16 favicon-16.png convert favicon-256.png -resize 32x32 favicon-32.png convert favicon-256.png -resize 64x64 favicon-64.png convert favicon-256.png -resize 128x128 favicon-128.png Now you'll want to bundle them up into the .ico file, the trick I found is to make it 256 colors or it will not display properly! convert favicon-16.png favicon-32.png favicon-64.png favicon-128.png favicon-256.png -colors 256 favicon.ico There you have it, open it up in gimp and make sure it looks OK. Each image should appear as a layer. |

This is a Beige 1977 Mercedes Benz 240D (W123), says 77K on the clock, 3 speed automatic transmission. As rough as it might be right now the avocado green interior is MINT (for it's age). Decent battery, tires look new, with the exception of the coolant all fluids and filters were changed last year. I didn't change the coolant because it really needs a flush, wash and should be replaced with the orange stuff. The driver's window wouldn't go up or down and I replaced the regulator assembly. I'm sure it needs a few parts here or there (passenger side exterior plastic vent cover), definitely brakes and some TLC. |

It’s been a long time since I’ve made an update; it’s time to get back in the habit. We had a whirlwind weekend finishing up one of our solar installations and our shed project. Here’s a picture of the shed and I’ll hopefully add some of the solar installs soon.
