Our friends came to visit us last night and gave me quite a fright, as I'm sure I did to them. We met last spring when they were being "pursued" by a car down Turnpike Rd. It's difficult to tell from this picture, but their heads are as tall as me! Also, please notice all the white stuff still on the ground and PITY US!!! |

I lost my Grandmother on my Mother’s side April 3rd 2008, Barbara Gullage. I was the youngest grand-child in the family and when they tried to teach me to say Gramma and Grampa, I could only ever come out with Amma and Papa. Well, it stuck and that is what they were called by most in the family. I’m going to try and get a picture gallery setup, but until I can I felt the need to put something up. There was a recording she made before her 70th birthday and we were able to capture her funeral service.

I am tired of winter. Although the calendar boasts spring, the outdoors looks nothing like it. We got another 4 or 5 inches of fresh powder on Friday. "Fresh powder" makes it sound like something positive. It was just another blow for me. The driveway was almost clear of snow. The piles were working their way down the garden fence. This is demoralizing. |

I had to write the following for a couple reasons and rather than let it get lost in my increasing number of unfinished articles, I thought it might be nice to share... because sharing is caring. Do you know what your footprint is? Check it out at www.rprogress.org - click on the link on the left. Happy New Year everyone! |

1999 Kawasaki Concours ZG1000 Sport-Touring Motorcycle The bike was sold May 19th, 2008! She will be missed but has a good home. I have owned it for a few years now and I didn't even get it on the road this year. I really need more of a dual-purpose / enduro style bike, such as a KLR-650. Then end of last year the fuel filter was clogged and it was cutting out at the top end. This spring I replaced the filter but unfortunately stripped the tank screws on the way back in. I've had so much going on, I haven't had a chance to go back and see how it runs. Someone deserves to ride this beauty. Is has the following accessories: - Givi removable trunk bag - holds 2 full-face helmets.
- Factory side bags.
- Perfect size cover fits with all bags on, has exhaust guards
- I have handlebar risers and peg lowerers - never installed
- Fender-extender - never installed
- Shop manual
- Many extra parts and filters
As far as I know it needs nothing. 2nd owner. Always garaged. Pictures of the bike as I bought it. I'll get down there this week and get some other pictures. CycleChaos Wiki described the motorcycle as: |
