 Reading back, last year Uncle Jack came over and helped excavate for the wind turbine. It took us about a year to finish that project, primarily because of the bearing failure and water damage to the turbine. Building up to my birthday this year was making sure that was finished. To provide me a little motivation, Elaina bought me a Lowe "Sea Nymph" L1232 flat bottom jon boat. A year or so ago my dad handed down his 15 year old Minn-Kota trolling motor. We had a left over 12v deep-cycle battery from Costco we used to use with the pocket inverters. The other battery is currently in the truck, but this one was free just like the trolling motor!
