Today is opposite day. Wear your shirt backwards. Put your left shoe on your right foot. Comb your teeth. Brush your legs. Shave your hair. Up is down. Hot is cold. Republicans spend, tax, and regulate more. Intelligence and education are bad. The government does not listen to its people. Bullying, meanness and name-calling are enviable traits. We're capitalists until we're not making money, then we're socialist. Greed and laziness are rewarded. People who live within their means pay for others' mistakes. Fraud is not a crime... for certain people and certain companies. Hard-work and pride in what we do are avoided. We care for our rich. Old, sterile men know what's better for young, fertile women than their own doctors. Today is opposite day and I am not proud of my country. |
